When discussing AI, a significant issue is the potential bias in AI systems, and this is expected. Many have realized that the data used to train AI algorithms is biased, thereby very susceptible to perpetuating existing inequalities, particularly in housing markets where ‘discrimination’ (I don't like this word, but it describes it best) already exists. 

Moreover, ensuring that AI-driven systems are secure is another priority. With wide-spread adoption or prevalence of IoT, urban infrastructures are now more prone to hacking. Understanding the severe consequence(s) this could have on the safety/security of people and their communities justifies the panic.

These highlight the importance of transparency and accountability when implementing AI solutions. However, beyond these aforementioned concerns, the most likely popular and (if not) foremost concern raised by many is: “Will AI take my job?”. 

Well, let's look at it like this...let's describe this with the topic at hand.
